COCOM–NC/Raleigh is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to serve charitable, educational, and cultural purposes. Our mission is to promote the social, cultural, and economic empowerment of our members and the broader community, while fostering mutual understanding and positive engagement between the United States of America and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Through culturally responsive programming and strategic partnerships, COCOM–NC/Raleigh addresses community needs by supporting individual development, family stability, and community connection. Our initiatives focus on cultural preservation, education, advocacy, and community engagement, creating inclusive spaces that encourage participation, collaboration, and growth.
By honoring Congolese heritage and strengthening cross-cultural relationships, COCOM–NC/Raleigh contributes positively to American society and supports long-term community impact.
